How to make Besan laddoo

Ingredients :

Kadale hittu ( besan )                                              2 cups

Pure ghee 1 + cups ( if you wish to have bean laddoos very soft,                          increase the quantity of ghee)
Powdered sugar                                                     1 1/4 cups
Cardamom powder                                                 1 tea spoon
Cashew nuts                                                           20
Raisins                                                                    20

Preparation :


In a pan heat cashews in a little ghee and set aside.

In a thick bottomed kadai mix ghee and besan and on a medium flame, keep stirring continuously. Take care to see that it is not burnt. It will take quite some time to turn golden colour and lose its raw smell. Then turn of the heat and keep stirring further till the heat completely subsides or transfer it to some other vessel.
Once the mix is TOTALLY cool, add fried cashews, raisins, elaichi powder and sugar. ( Add sugar according to your taste. ) Knead thoroughly and roll into laddoos. ( It can be used without refrigeration for over a month )
